Yermunai Collective Farmer Producer Company Limited (YCFPCL) is one among the Collective Farming FPOs promoted by TN Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (TNSFAC). Mostly farmer members are from Nambiyur and Gobichettipalayam block of Erode district. This region is known for the Paddy, Turmeric and Banana with irrigation source from Bhavani sagar reservoir under LBP irrigation project.
The company is intended to grow with a structured business plan and revised marketing strategy with appropriate business tie ups. It has established the Seed Processing Unit with the help of Tamil Nadu Small Farmers Agri Business consortium in view of creation of adequate Seed Infrastructure Facilities and the funding support is done under Sub Mission on Seeds and Planting Material (SMSP) through National Mission on Agriculture Extension Technology (NMET). YCFPCL is establishing a soil and water testing lab to serve the farmers with technical support towards plant nutrition management and certification process to obtain the GAP or organic certification.
