I am happy to introduce me as an Agribusiness professional having acquired 21 years of domain experience in agriculture extension with input sales and marketing, procurement, Farm consultancy, Banking and Rural financing, Strategic advisory & implementation of ICT interventions and crop value chain management.
My core competencies are conducting effective rural campaigns and sales & marketing with high lead conversions. Expertise in agricultural extension services and served more than 10 years in farmers relationship management. Handled business analysis, product development, piloting and testing further driving for more adoption of ICT based tools and platforms across India and Philippines. I also possess considerable knowledge in banking and Agricultural finance management. I do have in- depth knowledge and experience in hand holding and mentoring of Farmer Producer organisations on farmer mobilisation, backward integration, production systems management, establishment of value addition units and business development cum forward integration.
I had a professional journey with International organisation ICRISAT, multinationals like Cadbury India Limited, Monsanto India Limited, other organisations namely Axis Bank Limited, Kisangates Agro Informatics Private Limited and Department of Agriculture, Govt of Tamil Nadu . Took up challenging assignments to nurture my skills in Agri business management.

I have acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural sciences and Post graduate in Business Administration both from prestigious Annamalai University. It was highly instrumental in shaping up my career in managing crop value chain systems.

Agribusiness professional with 20+ years of cross-functional experience from Research & Development to Technology commercialization. Started the professional career as a basic researcher and then progressed to Product Development, Quality Management, Project management and Techno commercial professional. Throughout the career span of 19 years with leading Agro input manufacturers like Bayer, BASF and other start-up ventures, had the fortune of working in multi-cultural, multi-national and cross-functional settings. Sara holds a Masters degree in Agriculture Science and his core competencies are leading effective campaigns and strategies for Business projects, Product development, Quality Management, and setting up Crop value chain systems.

 

Have done extensive networking of farm ecosystems and served more than 10 years in farmers relationship management. Handled business analysis, product development, piloting and testing of Herbal products for various markets. He also worked for various start up organisations for their bio nutrients and organic farm inputs business establishment and commercialisation. He does have in- depth knowledge in Agribusiness strategies for various Crop value chain businesses, FPO units to establish business plans, Financial engineering, Forward and backward integrations, DPRs, Govt grants and subsidies etc.  He can fluently speak Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English languages and worked in various geographies across India.
